Virginia Beach, Virginia — November 2020-Kalman & Company, Inc. (Kalman) is pleased to announce our successful certification by the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) as a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) under the Women-Owned Small Business Federal Contract Program (WOSB Program), as set forth in Title 13, Part 127 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
Kalman has been self-certified as a WOSB and an active member of the WOSB program since 2014. This new certification confirms our compliance with recent initiatives to establish higher standards to the WOSB/EDWOSB set-aside program originally set forth in the 2015 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and in effect as of October 2020.
The certification solidifies Kalman’s ability to compete for federal set-asides, sole source and multiple award contracts as a WOSB under qualifying NAICS and core capabilities.
